I thank GOD every day that I was able to hang on by a thread with that kid through texting, and then we have been able to rebuild as he has entered adulthood. NOW WAY do I agree that you can't have a substantial relationship via texting. When it is the only way that the two of you can talk and maybe step back from the passion of the moment....
